The soundtrack to a computer game that doesn't exist.

Whilst rooting around in the attic recently I found my old PS1 Memory Stick and after a cheap purchase on eBay to get a PS1, discovered it still had all the PlayStation Music tracks on and still worked!

Technically this is my first album as it was made and planned to be this album in 2002.

I always wanted the album to be a soundtrack to an imaginary game, some of the tracks would be songs over key moments, and other tracks I feel are more like the music and sound effects that would be playing over a particular level (such as ABC Warriors, Rollin' Monkeez, Tiger Skinned Laydee, Hing Kong Suzi's Kung Fu Chic). The one track I did called Risk (named after all the games of it we played in Uni) is like a free improvisation of Derek Bailey and Jamie Muir if created electronically. It is very weird how I can hear the genres I ended up loving in the music I made before I knew of them, and snippets of genres and scenes we loved in our teens (electro, rave, industrial).

Thanks to Andy and Chris for joining the collective insanity as the PlayStation music took hold of us back in 2002 (along with the pills and mushrooms) and James, Dave and Ryan for listening to it, and Matt for being a regular member of our little crew. Big up The Class A Team.
